About me

Producing an artwork lifts the tense off my shoulders and untangled the fusses in my head. Myself as a expresser feels that the hectic has always been around to over-volume the silence and dominating the remaining safe corners in life. To eliminate those feelings, I paint and draw using art media that seem effortless for my hands to hold and feel flawless for my arms to sway around.
My works are representative which I indicate in lines, strokes, movements or alignments, colours, and objects. Most of my submitted works are drawings and this is because I'm truly passionate with the idea of using ink to contrast my images, and delivering the message in a dramatic way. I'm wanting to create a soft side by blending and adding more water to the remain wet access by the ink, shading my images. Using a black ink can easily convey a strong emotion, so in some of my work I've exaggerate the amount of strokes to strengthen the emotions. The main subject matters in my drawings and painting are mostly female figures with male figures coming in second with such forlorn and melancholy. Some of my drawings are inspired by the whole angelic theme with wings attached to the figures and I added some darkness overlapping the virtue giving a sense of sorrow and gloomy.
When it comes to my paintings, I used harmonious colours that doesn't take over each and can actually work well together. Watercolour paintings are the most amount of work that I'm submitting other than acrylic or oil paintings; is because I wanted to feel the calmness and the almost feather-light on the tip of my fingers. I kind of used the term 'go with the flow' on my watercolour paintings, in another word, I took the risk and be spontaneous with my watercolours. I'm avoiding from over-thinking my techniques in mixing the colours, because I don't want to add a line or limitation when it comes to my instincts.Basically my works are wanting to represent the feeling of despair, torture, and angst with a little bit of tenderness and warmth, but those feelings somehow happened naturally with no force or with any plans.
I am looking forward to expand my knowledge in producing memorable artworks in the future. I'm overenthusiastic to learn more about the greatness of art and deliver a new expectations in art. I believe being apart of this programme will be my first step to achieve my life long dreams.

Here is my study of the human eye. The long lashes is to show that this is a female's eye. The eye is appearing to be wide open to show concentrations and interest in something.

This image is representing the passion of making love within two lovers. The image are still recognizable even though they are done in a quick sketch method.

This image of horse head with a male body is representing pride and strength. I took the definition of figurative art then change them into a representational artwork combining a male body with an animal head. The media used are watercolours.

Here are my charcoal drawings.
the first are the two figures of a male and a female form. I was inspired by the measurements I learn in the drawing class in creating a figure. this charcoal drawing was done in a paper that has been sunk in water mixed with coffee. the reason for that is I wanted the get the effect of a very rusty looking surface given it an ancient vibe. the two figures I did an interpretation of what Neo-figurative for me are look like.

the second image appears to be more realistic. the darkness of the charcoal can strongly presenting a certain emotion. I used the benefit of the intensively dark tone to create this image of man who is in sitting position with feet upon his chest and with his head bow down suggestion that he is feeling upset and lonely surrounded by darkness and emptiness.

the objective of this watercolour painting is to indicate a graceful death. even though the body is starting to sore and the pigmentation of the skin starts to wear off, the position of the body alignment are still graceful. what inspires me is the tragic of a beautiful death. A beautiful death for me is when a person dies from convicting a suicide over their tragic life. many art masters from the past took away their own lives for they have nothing else to offer to the world and their deaths that makes them remembered until today.here in this painting i wanted to represent what beautiful death is.

i was inspired by the whole idea of quick sketching techniques. what i know about quick sketching is to capture the subject and sketch it as quickly as possible to form it. i found the strokes and the amount of pressure added by the ball pen can be very expressive and that's what inspires me to form this image of a female in nude looking very upset and heartbroken.

here is another of my artwork painted in watercolour. this artwork is an image of a ballerina sitting in a position that only shows her backside and she's wearing a fluffy almost flowery like tutu. her figure is painted in an unrealistic tone that is similar to a very greyish pencil sketching. i simply made her figure in a dark way to actually gives a feeling of emptiness and sadness in her soul. my purpose of doing so is to show her lack of passion and interest in dancing. her tutu is in soft pastel colours as it illuminates femininity but it appears blooming like a flower suggesting the dancer is wearing her passion but never really lives in it.

I recently enjoy the use of watercolour. I found it effortless and it gives me a sort of flow almost calmness and restrain even though I get a little concious and aware in executing the colour tones and the brush strokes for it may collapse the whole idea or concept.
for me what keeps the facial expressions to hold in place is because of the skull. But I believe every bones and veins play a role in showing emotions even if its invincible to the human sight. sometimes lack of movements says a million. in this two pieces where I use the skull as the expresser to show a sense of despair and unconditionally sorrow..what inspires me to do this artworks is from a previous work;'Death in the Sickroom' by Edvard Munch. he;s artwork strongly indicates death with the gloomy atmosphere and figures showing despair but blunt expressions almost dead. thus it influences my artworks. the deep mysterious feelings human tends to hide given them a lifeless facial reactions towards feelings as if the skull is on the outside and the skin are inside. almost like death is wearing them and they are emotionless like a corpse.
